- Bluetooth & Nearby Devices (
BLUETOOTH_CONNECT,BLUETOOTH_SCAN): Used exclusively to discover, connect to, and communicate with your KuKirin electric scooter locally on your device. Telemetry data from your scooter (such as battery status, speed, and logs) remains entirely on your device and is never uploaded to external servers. - Location Access (
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION,ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Required by the Android OS framework to enable Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanning on certain Android versions. We do not track, store, or transmit your physical GPS location. - Internet Access (
INTERNET): Used to load advertisements via Google AdMob and process in-app purchases via Google Play Billing.
Note on Scooter Data: All diagnostic information, speed data, battery statistics, and device settings are processed locally on your phone and are never sold, shared, or uploaded to any remote server.
3. Third-Party Services & Advertising
KuKirin Manager integrates third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device:
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK): We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect and process device identifier data (such as Android Advertising ID), IP address, network details, and crash reporting metrics to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. - Google Play In-App Billing: Our app offers optional premium features or ad removal via Google Play Billing. Financial transactions and billing details are processed securely and directly by Google Play. We do not store or have access to your credit card or financial information.

We implement standard security practices to protect your data. Since scooter operational data is stored locally within Android's sandboxed storage (via DataStore preferences), it remains under your direct control and can be cleared at any time by clearing the app data in your device settings.
